So the NSA released a scary memo saying update PHP or take the site down. I can’t remember the NSA doing something like that this. Anyway, I was in a hurry to get dinner started, but I didn’t want to take my site down to long. Since it’s a simple site, I just pull the latest version of php.
kubectl rollout restart deployment/name -n namespace_name
kubectl get pods -n namespace
kubectl exec -it new_pod_name -n namespace_name --php -vDone. Site wasn’t disrupted. The old site was up while the new one rolled out and then trashed. The whole thing just took a few minutes.
Now on to dinner.
